For most of our services (like Remedial, Sports, or Stone Massage), your therapist will step out while you undress to your level of comfort and lie under a secure sheet. For traditional oil-free therapies (like Nuad Thai or Hammer Line), you will remain fully clothed.

The best preparation is simply to arrive with an open mind, be well-hydrated, and be ready to talk to your therapist about how you feel so we can create the perfect session for you.

With so many specialized options, it’s natural to have questions. Here are a few common ones to help you understand our services.

You don’t have to be the expert! If you’re unsure, we recommend you simply book our main “Remedial Massage.” This session always begins with an assessment. Your therapist will talk to you about your pain, and if they feel a different modality (like Cupping or Trigger Point) would be more effective, they will discuss it with you.

The difference is the goal. A Remedial Massage is a clinical treatment—it’s designed to assess and fix a specific, diagnosed problem like an injury. A wellness massage (like our Anti-Stress) is designed to promote a state of rest, calm the nervous system, and reduce general tension.

These are ancient, holistic systems. They are very different from Western massage. They are typically performed on a mat, you remain clothed, and no oil is used. They focus on restoring balance by working on ‘energy lines’ using acupressure and assisted stretching. They are powerful and deeply therapeutic.

This is a key question. No, not all of them are. Services that fall under the ‘Remedial Massage’ scope (e.g., Remedial, Sports, Pre/Post-Op, Pregnancy, Lymphatic) are generally claimable. However, traditional and wellness services (e.g., Nuad Thai, Hammer Line, Reflexology, Anti-Stress, Hot Stone) are generally not claimable. We will always provide a ‘Remedial Massage’ receipt when the treatment qualifies.

The best way is to start with a conversation. When you call to book, our team can listen to your needs and guide you. Once you are with your therapist, they will be your best resource, helping you build a treatment plan that may include several of these different therapies over time.
